A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I was first introduced to the world of medical devices and equipment just under a decade ago.  In the beginning, it was just a new job - a fresh world of sales to conquer. Today, it’s one of my life’s most meaningful passions.

Working in the medical market has given me a deep appreciation for health and healing. I love seeing how innovations in technology can positively impact patients’ lives, and playing even a small part in the care continuum is a privilege I treasure.

As my business has grown, I’ve worked hard to build and maintain meaningful partnerships with forward-thinking health clinics and veterinary practices. Hands-on and collaborative, I pride myself on delivering personalized service to every client I work with - and to only representing products I believe in.

Day in and day out, I work towards the same goal: to add real value to your practice, and to help you give your patients the best treatment possible.

THE SKEVOS STORY

What's in a Name

The name of the business, Skevos, is a tribute to my late father, Steve. A boisterous, generous man, my dad was a confidant, a mentor, and a friend. He was my Coach; a guy.

Skevos was our family’s surname in Greece. It was changed to Cochran when our relatives first immigrated to the United States, and It’s an important part of my story. As a business name, it honors my family's early career support, grounds me in integrity, and keeps my dad with me as I continue to build the life we dreamed of together.

MEET BILL, SENIOR SALES ASSOCIATE / DOG

Bill is one of Skevos’ chief stakeholders. A business partner, a road trip buddy, and a mascot - Bill helps Kevin assess products, evaluate new ventures, and chase down squirrels.

A very good girl, she (yes, she) also reminds Kevin that it’s important to keep up his fetch skills, to appreciate the little things, and to savor good treats.
